The Watford City Girls had a little bit of a rough day, but there was plenty of PR (Personal Records) set, so it wasn’t bad for us. We had a beautiful day with almost no wind and tempurature was around 75 degrees. We couldn’t ask for anything better.
Paige Schuster came up big in the 400. She qualified it for state and took 1st place in the event. She ran a season best of a 1:01.03. She made state qualifying marks by 67 hundredths of a second.
She also got 5th place in the 300H with a time of 48.91.
Another individual placer in the 400 was Eden Ybarra. She has been working hard all year and putting in a lot of good effort. She started the year at a 1:07.53. Now she has nearly cut of 4 seconds and has ran a 1:03.95 to take 8th in the Varsity 400.
Brooke Kulseth also placed 8th running the 200 and setting a new PB at 27.24.
