We had the best weather of the season on Saturday, along with that came some very good performances by our athletes throughout the program.

Xavier McGorman got us started by winning the high jump with a personal best jump of 6’4” and qualifying for the state meet. He had a very good attempt at 6’6”. That attempt has him knocking on the door of our school record that is set at 6’7”. It was fun to watch Xavier compete in the event.

James Odenbach ran well in the 300 hurdles placing second and just missed qualifying by four-hundredths of a second. We look forward to seeing him get that event qualified.

Thaydan Arnold was in a battle with a Bismarck Century athlete who on the last throw narrowly edged out Thaydan by two inches. Thaydan placing second with a state qualifying throw of 51’4”.
