The Watford City Wolves Wrestling Club has concluded a dominant run across several major tournaments, showcasing the depth and talent of young wrestlers from the region. From local state championships to national duals, the club’s athletes have displayed exceptional skill and perseverance.
At the 2026 USAW ND State Folkstyle Individual Tournament held in Bismarck, the club faced stiff competition, with over 1,700 wrestlers participating. The Watford City squad proved their mettle against a crowded field. “Out of 61 teams Watford City came out in 6th place and was actually sitting in first for a long time,” said coach Adam Greenhaw. “Us coaches are beyond proud of all our wrestlers! At the state tournament we had 23 placers and 6 state champions! Great job to all the wrestlers and thank you to all the parents!” The club’s six state champions included Harlem Lynn, Paisley Langworthy, Griff Greenhaw, Levi Gedda, Grady Greenhaw, and Cora Sorenson.
