Kendra Heier will be the new head coach for Watford City volleyball. “Her personality and passion for coaching is the first thing you will notice about Kendra Heier,” said Watford City Activities Director, Brad Foss. “Kendra will have her work cut out for her jumping into the WDA but I believe she is up for the task. She has been around volleyball enough to know what makes up a good program.”
“I have always had a passion for sports,” said Heier. “They have always been important to me and I think it’s a great way to connect with our youth. I am honored for the opportunity to be able to coach in this program. These girls work hard and it is exciting to get to be a part of it with them.”
Heier is already familiar with Watford City as she spent time teaching at both the elementary and intermediate school. As a student, she studied at Williston State College before graduating from Mayville State University and earning her Masters degree from the University of Mary.
