The Wolves traveled to Minot on Tuesday to conclude the regular season at the Minot City Auditorium. Watford City prevailed against Minot North in the first matchup between the two schools.

After Watford City scored the first six points of the game, the Sentinels tied the game up thanks to a 10-4 run. That was when Watford City senior, Jessica Mogen took the game over with steals and scores.
“I think Jessie had about 4 steals in a row at the half line that she converted into easy layups,” said Watford City Coach, Tom Dwyer. “That got us started on that run. I was really pleased with how we played that whole half. We rebounded really well and got 80 percent of the defensive rebounds. We did get beat back door a couple of times, but Minot North made some really good passes on those plays that you have to give them credit for. I was very pleased with how we moved the ball on offense and how we got everyone involved.”
