Wolves open football season with two decisive wins
Watford City opened its 2010 season on a strong note picking up a pair of wins as the Wolves rolled over the Stanley Blue Jays 41-8 on Friday evening and then won their first Region 4 game on Saturday afternoon as the JV team cruised by Standing Rock 26-6.

Watford City’s varsity girls cross country team took seventh place in the junior varsity division at the Dickinson Cross Country Meet on Saturday, while the boys varsity team took 12th place in the junior varsity division.
Wolves to open football season Friday
The Watford City Wolves football team will be seeing some heavy action as they open their 2010 season with back-to-back games this week. The Wolves will host Stanley in their season opener at 7 p.m. on Friday at Fridley Field and then host Standing Rock at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
