Watford City’s cross country teams competed in two meets this past week as the Wolves hosted a meet at the Watford City Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 22 before competing at the Beulah Invitational on Saturday.
“We ran two extremely tough courses this past week,” stated Greg Brown, Wolves head coach. “Both Watford City and Beulah have a tough hill to deal with.  I felt our runners are starting to show a little fatigue on their legs from the workouts and the tough schedule of running hard meets back to back. We will continue to work hard as the season is starting to draw to an end.”
This week, the Wolves will be competing at the Williston Meet on Oct. 1 and then start preparing for the Regional Meet in Beulah on Oct. 10.
