Boys Track and Field Results
Williston Early Bird 3-19-26

This meet was originally scheduled as an indoor meet, but because of the good warm weather, it became and outdoor meet. It was a very windy day though, which made it tough to qualify running events. We had a small number of athletes because our school was on spring break. We are excited about the results at this early meet. We were able to get 3 individual first place finishes from Bryson Wolfe in the 400, Dehico Bocanegra Tovar in the 800, and James Odenbach in the 300 Hurdles. Chase Cutshall was able to qualify the long jump with a mark of 21’1.5”. State qualifying is 21’0”, which is an increase of 3” from last season’s qualifying standard of 20’9”.

There are several qualifying marks that have been adjusted from last season’s qualifying standards. Our next meet is scheduled for a boys and girls varsity/JV meet in Mandan on March 31. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
