Jessica Mogen, Watford City Wolves junior, was named to the All-WDA team as part of the awards ceremony after the conclusion of the conference tournament in Bismarck.
The All-Tournament team is selected by the head coaches of the 11 schools that competed in the WDA Conference of Class A Girls Basketball.
Mogen played in all 22 games for the Wolves this season. She led her team with 17.6 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, 60 pass deflections, 50 steals and 20 blocks. Mogen also recorded 2.3 assists per game, shot 47.3 percent from the field, 69.3 percent from the free throw line and made 15 three-pointers this season.
Two memorable moments for Mogen occurred during Watford City’s games against Williston. In the first meeting, Jessica set a new school record by scoring 44 points in the Wolves 64-53 victory.
In their second matchup, Mogen scored 28 points, including the 1,000th point of her high school career. Watford City won that meeting as well, by a final score of 83-60.
