Louellen (Lou) Ann (Anderson) Iverson was born March 25, 1947, in Bismarck, N.D., to Telford and Marie (Klamm) Anderson. She grew up on the farm near Watford City, N.D., and was the much-loved baby sister to her three older brothers. Louellen passed away March 13, 2024.
Louellen graduated from Dickinson State College in 1970, with a degree in Elementary Education and received a Master’s in the Arts of Teaching from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Ore. in 1981. Lou taught grade school in Williston, N.D., from 1976-84, and was director of the gifted program, grades 1-6, from 1984-87.

Even after her beloved Steve passed away in 2010, Lou continued her travels and adventures with family and friends. Lou moved to Bismarck, N.D., in August 2023, to be closer to her family.
Lou had a contagious joy and was eternally positive. She left a deep and lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a talented quilter, baker, and decorator. Lou loved Jesus from childhood and leaned on her Savior throughout her life. She was involved in many activities at her church in Redmond.
