The spirit of community and growth was on full display on March 31, as the Alexander Public School District officially unveiled its completed $18 million expansion project. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a milestone for the district, bringing a close to a two-year construction journey that has fundamentally transformed the school’s capacity to serve its growing student body.
The event, held under beautiful spring skies, brought together a broad audience of supporters, including students, staff, school board members, county commissioners, and community residents. For Superintendent Leslie Bieber, the day was about more than just the new square footage; it was a celebration of the resilience and teamwork required to reach the finish line. “It was especially meaningful to celebrate not just the building, but the journey,” said Bieber. “We truly came together as a team to see this project through.”
