Watford City baseball opened season with four home games

Watford City Baseball started their season with four home games last week. They split a doubleheader with Sidney on Tuesday. They got swept by Dickinson on Thursday.

Tuesday, April 2: Sidney 9, Watford City 6; Watford City 14, Sidney 3
Thursday, April 4: Dickinson 18, Watford City 4; Dickinson 3, Watford City 0

In the loss to Sidney, Judd Johnsrud had a great overall game. He pitched six innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out four batters. At the plate, he went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk.

Johnsrud collected three more hits in the doubleheader against Dickinson. Landon Ledahl had a two-hit game with an RBI and Tyesen Kuchenbuch scored two runs.
