Babe Ruth baseball season summary
The 15U Walleye Babe Ruth club wrapped up a busy summer at the Five Tool World Series in Denver, Colo. on July 27-30. Coach Pat Spacher shared a look back on the team’s performance through the year:
For the regular season the 15U were 14-22. They were 5-3 in league play, and 2-2 at the district tournament.
At the district tournament, we finished fourth and completed a grueling postseason run against superior competition. The Walleye played against teams from North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming and New Mexico. Many of the teams they played boasted players from multiple high schools.
