McKenzie County Public Library reports growth in patron activity

The McKenzie County Public Library has released a report outlining their growth and patron activity for the year 2023. Over the year, the library has increased its rank from second, to the highest rank given by the state.
One of the areas that has seen significant growth is the bi-monthly storytime events held on Thursdays. According to the report, “Storytime attendance continues to grow since the last reporting, with consistent numbers over the past few weeks averaging 30-35 people participating each Thursday. Attendance peaked in August, having hit a high of 45 on August 24. We are considering an adjustment to the schedule to accommodate patrons that are unable to attend on Thursdays. We plan to conduct patron feedback surveys to understand the schedule preferences of our community.”
