Economic Development and Tourism task force moves into new offices

Remodeling the second floor of the Long X Visitor Center has drawn to an end and the new facilities are already hosting the Watford City and McKenzie County employees that make up the new economic development and tourism joint task force.
The area used to house the artifacts of the Pioneer Museum, but with the completion of the new McKenzie County Heritage Park and Oil Museum, the artifacts have found a new home.
Jan Dodge, the director of Pioneer Gifts and Books, which still operates the visitor’s center, said that moving the artifacts to be housed in the same facility “just made sense.”
