Youth wrestlers place at State, National meets

Watford City’s Youth Wrestling Team wrapped up its season competing in the Black Hills Nationals on March 18 and 19, and at the North Dakota State Youth Tournament in Bismarck on March 25 and 26.
At the Black Hills Nationals, which saw 163 teams from across the country competing, Blake Polivka won first place in the six-year-old 40 pound weight class, while Cora Sorenson, nine years old, and Sylvia Boekelman, 16 years old, took first place in the girls competition at 73 pounds and 130 pounds, respectively.
