Over 230 hours of practice time paid off as the Watford City Wolves Varsity Stunt Team placed first at the Best of the Midwest cheerleading competition.
Kylee Brothers, Kalysta Quintero, Olivia Luna, and Breeal Delgado made up the first-place stunt team. In one minute, they were able to wow the judges with not only the creativity of their routine, but the difficulty, technique, execution, and overall impression of their performance.
The Watford City Wolves Cheerleading Team consists of 17 students who train for at least two hours a day, five days a week. They do sideline cheer at every football game, at both boys and girls varsity basketball games, as well as any other event they are invited to, like the cross country meets.
In addition to all of these events, they also prepare for competitions and keep up with their schoolwork.
