Wolves send 11 athletes to State Track Meet

Watford City will be sending six boys and five girls to the North Dakota State Class A Track and Field Meet in Bismarck this week following good performances at the WDA Last Chance Meet in Bismarck on May 16, and the WDA Regional Meet in Dickinson on Saturday, May 21.
At the Last Chance Meet, Ethan Dennis qualified in the 300 meter hurdles, while the boys 800 meter relay team, consisting of Ethan Dennis, Levi Musser, Rylee Boomer and Dakota Cluchie, also turned in a state qualifying time.
Qualifying for state for the girls division at the Last Chance Meet was Macee Franz in the 400 meter dash and Jaelyn Ogle in the 1,600 meter run.
The boys team picked up two more state qualifiers at the WDA Regional Meet on Saturday with Tanner Edwards in the 300 meter hurdles and Aaron Cutshall in the 200 meter dash.
