After wrapping up their regular season by competing in two meets this past week, Watford City’s cross country teams will be heading to Dickinson this Saturday to compete in the WDA Regional Meet.
At the Watford City Invitational, the girls team took first place, while the boys team finished the course in second place.
“It was a tough day to try and improve times because of the difficulty of our course along with a very hot, windy day,” stated Dave Gumke, boys head coach. “The guys accepted the challenge and ran very well in the conditions. We came close to winning the varsity boys race.”
