Wolves fall to Stanley, win big over Parshall

The Watford City Wolves split in varsity volleyball action this past week dropping three games to Stanley on Sept. 28 before coming back to roll over Parshall in three straight games on Thursday.
This week, the Wolves, who are 6-2 in dual action and 14-7 overall, will be on the road as they travel to Trenton on Thursday and then compete in the Beach Tournament on Satruday.
Stanley 3, Watford City 0
Watford City was just no match for Stanley, last year’s Region champs, as the Blue Jays swept the Wolves in three games by scores of 25-13, 25-16 and 25-22 last Tuesday.
Karson Pederson had four service aces for the Wolves, while Charlie Hystad had five kills and McKayla Haugeberg had nine digs.

Watford City got back on the winning track in a big way last Thursday as the Wolves rolled over the Parshall Braves in three quick games by scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-9.
Sierra Perdue and Ashli Foli had six service aces each to lead the Wolves, while Charlie Hystad had nine kills.
