We had a delayed start on Friday because of the weather. Once we started, the rain had quit, but the wind and the cold continued throughout the day. We woke up to beautiful weather on Saturday that continued all day with warm temperatures and low wind. Friday’s weather helped us appreciate our awesome weather on Saturday.
Ethan Dennis got us started right by getting on the podium with his 6th place finish in the 300 hurdles. His time of 39.72 was a new personal record.
Parker Schuster was next to get on the podium with his 4th place finish in the 400-meter dash. His time of 49.31 broke his own school record of 49.66 that he set earlier this season. Parker followed that up with a 7th place finish in the 200 with a time of 22.45, which was a personal record for him.
