WC Phillies compete in Cooperstown, New York

Phillies 9, NY Warriors 7
The Phillies built a 6-run lead in the sixth inning, then held off the West NY Warriors for a 9-7 victory Friday.
The Phillies captured the lead 3-1, in the top of the third after Braylen Tolbert tripled; Carter Branstrom singled; and Isaiah Leahy singled, each scoring one.
The Warriors tied the game in the bottom of the fourth due to an error, and a ground out.
In the top of the fifth, the Phillies broke up the tie when Rylie Ledahl-Berger singled, scoring one run. Then a sacrifice fly by Brandon Spacher followed to extend the lead to 5-3.
Erin Luna earned the win for the Phillies. The right-handed pitcher gave up two hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Spacher stepped on the mound first for the Phillies. The righty allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out seven and walking two.
