Track teams take fourth at Williston track meet

Watford City’s boys and girls track teams took fourth place at the Thrivent Indoor Meet in Williston on Friday, April 1.
In the boys division, Watford City’s 800 meter and 3,200 meter relay teams finished in second place, while Ethan Dennis took second place in the 400 meter dash.
“Our sprinters are running well to start the year,” stated Dave Gumke, boys head coach. “We had a fun, exciting race in the 800 meter relay with four teams running together the whole race that came down to the wire.”
In addition to Dennis, Dakota Cluchie took third place in the 60 meter dash and Aaron Cutshall took second in the triple jump for Watford City.
