Jaelyn Ogle continues to run extremely well for the Watford City girls track team as she took first place at the Dickinson Invitational on Saturday in the 400 meter dash and the 3,200 meter run. Ogle’s time of 1:01.35 in the 400 qualified her for the state track meet.
The girls 800 meter relay team of Kyley Barnett, Macee Franz, Annie Dennis and Hayley Ogle also turned in a state qualifying time of 1:49.99.
“Some of the times our girls are posting are very competitive in the state. In fact we have the top times posted so far,” stated Richard Rust, girls head coach. “We hope to continue improving and seeing great results.”
In the boys division, Dakota Cluchie took first in the 100 meter dash and second in the 200 meter dash.
