Tough week for Wolves Baseball

Bismarck 9, Watford City 8
The Wolves outplayed Bismarck for much of Game One, building a lead of 4-1 after two innings and 7-3 after six innings. Bismarck erupted for six runs in the seventh to take a 9-7 lead. Watford City scored once in the bottom of the seventh, but their rally fell one run short.
Leadoff batter Paco Baldenegro went 3-for-5 with a run. Judd Johnsrud, Tyesn Kuchenbuch, and Josh Chavez all collected two hits. Johnsrud scored twice. Kuchenbuch, Carson Voll, Hunter Cowan and Nolan Dahl completed a trip around the bases once each. Voll also had an RBI.
