Watford City’s cross country teams ran in Killdeer on Tuesday, Oct. 12, as a final tune-up for the upcoming State Class A Cross Country Meet, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, at Jamestown.
“The 3K race was a chance for our runners to increase and sustain a fast pace over a shorter distance than they normally run,” stated Dave Gumke, boys head coach. “It also gave us a race between WDA and State and it was nice to see Tanner Edwards, Evander Long and Parker Schuster place in the top 20.”
