Becki Wells Invitational
It was a week full of injuries for the girls cross country team. The two team seniors were out but their remaining teammates ran well and had a great showing.
The middle school girls were also impacted by a number of injuries, but the girls that competed did wonderful.
Girls High School results: Katie Olson, 3, 20:20; Lola Olson, 17, 22:50; Tricia Smitz, 30, 25:23.
Girls Middle School Results: Ashlyn Mayden, 9, 13:40; Ava Shold, 11, 13:46; Tayloe Erwin, 19, 15:06.
The Watford City Boys Cross Country team ran well as a team and only had a gap of 1:50 between their first finisher and their fifth. The progress is continuing and they hope to improve each week. Seven boys acheived new personal records this week. They are Tanner Edwards, Daniel Scott, Parker Schuster, Dehico Bocanegra Tovar, Aaron Cutshall, Elisha Mitchell, and Brody Smith.
