New baseball teams launched in Watford

For youngsters who were interested in playing competitive baseball this summer, the newly-formed 12U and 10U baseball teams may just be their answer as the Watford City Outlaws took to the diamond last month.
According to Bob Strom, one of the organizers, the idea came from a group of families that recognized the sport of baseball needed to start in the early spring as many of the neighboring larger towns also have club baseball programs that are separate from the local parks and recreation programs.
