McKenzie County Hockey Club to Host NDAHA State Tournament

The McKenzie County Hockey Club is proud to host the 2025–2026 NDAHA State Tournament at the Rough Rider Center, with Junior Gold competing March 5–7 and 19U Girls competing March 6–8. This year’s event brings both tournaments to Watford City, welcoming athletes, families, and fans from across North Dakota. Hosting two state tournaments simultaneously is a tremendous honor for our community and a celebration of the dedication, growth, and spirit of youth hockey in McKenzie County.

As we prepare to host the State Tournament March 6-8, the Watford City Oiler 19U girls hockey team could not be more excited for the opportunity ahead. This season has been defined by commitment, resilience, and countless hours of hard work. This group of young women have shown up for each other every single day, and we are proud to showcase that effort on home ice.

Hosting the State Tournament is an incredible honor not just for our team, but for our entire Watford City community. We are excited to welcome teams, families, and fans from across North Dakota to experience the wonderful people, businesses, and hospitality that make our town so special. It’s an opportunity to highlight the pride, work ethic, and support that define Watford City.
