Junior Gold hockey team drops home games
The Watford City Oilers lost both games they played in this weekend’s home, non-league action as they fell to the Minot Wolves, 7-3, on Friday and to the Richland Rangers, 5-3, on Saturday.
On Friday night, the Oilers started the scoring in the first period when Rylan Olson and Gabe Smith had a two-on-one chance with Olson passing to Smith who shot off the pipe and Olson crashed the net to bury the rebound.
