Junior Gold falls to Fargo

The Watford City Oilers traveled to Fargo on Saturday and ended up losing, 8-4-, to the Freeze.
The Oilers were missing four players from their already short bench so they knew they would have to get off to a quick start to have a chance. And that’s what they did.
Rhylan Olson stared the scoring less than two minutes into the game when he put in a power play goal with an assist from Carson Voll. However, the Freeze answered back tying the game, 1-1.
The Oilers start a six-game home stand on Friday when they take on Minot at 7 p.m. before hosting the Richland Rangers at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be at the Hansen Arena in the Rough Rider Center.
