Jaelyn Ogle is 1st place in cross country state-wide

It has been an exciting week for the Watford City High School’s girls cross country team. Jaelyn Ogle once again placed first and set a seasonal personal record of 18:33. at the Mandan Kiwanis meet on Sept. 2, 2022. She has placed first in all the meets she has competed in and is in a good position for a state championship.
Katie Olson is also having a great season and has been in the top 20 every meet and placed sixth this week with a time of 20:19, making this the second consecutive week she’s been in the top 10.
Tricia Schmitz placed 81st with a time of 25:44 as the final runner on the high school girls’ team.
The middle school girls had five of 13 runners place with Lola Olson, 18th; Annabelle Bohn, 20th; Paige Schuster, 22nd; Ashlyn Mayden, 47th, and Ava Ahold, 65th.
