WDA Championships
This past week W.C.H.S. boys and girls cross country runners participated in the Western Dakota Association (WDA) championships. The course the runners competed on was one of the hardest courses of the season. Both coaches remarked on how difficult the course was, but how focused the runners were. “The girls gave it all they had and did wonderful,” coach Sydney Lund said.
Boys Head Coach David Gumke said their “effort was still as good or better” than any previous week.
Both teams are looking to a 3K in Killdeer before turning their focus to the final meet of the year at the State Finals.
