Jamestown- State Finals
The Watford City Wolves cross country teams competed at the State Meet last weekend. Both the boys and girls teams had strong showings with members on each team meeting personal goals and some setting personal records.
The top finisher for the boys was Tanner Edwards, followed closely by Parker Schuster, and Zach Tomlinson. Zach had his best race of the season setting a new personal best time. James Odenbach also set a new personal best with his time.
Boys Coach David Gumke said, “It is a very good group of guys. They were all very good teammates. They accepted the challenge to work harder this year. We logged more miles and had very good quality workouts. They all had great attitudes about what it takes to be successful in cross country. Thanks to our Seniors, Tanner Edwards, Daniel Scott, Ethan Mitchell, and Aaron Cutshall for their efforts and leadership on our team.”
