Watford City opened up with a 7-4 lead, but could not make it last during their match up with Williston last Tuesday night. The Coyotes scored 17 unanswered points to build a lead the Wolves could not overcome.
Watford City head coach David Gumke said, “Our poor individual defense got them going at the start. We let them drive directly to the basket and didn’t switch the rub cuts like we normally do. We just got off to a bad start on defense. Williston was very aggressive to begin the game as they attacked the basket. It got us on our heels as they continued to put pressure on the basket.”
