Spikers see season come to a close
The Watford City varsity volleyball team saw its 2010 season come to a close last Thursday as the Wolves took fourth place at the Region 8 Volleyball Tournament in New Town.
Ten Wolves named to post season football teams
While the Watford City football team came up just one win away from earning a trip to the State Class A Football championship game, the Wolves had an outstanding 11-1 season. And now, 10 players from this year’s squad have been recognized by the coaches from the conference and region by being named to the All-Conference and the All-Region football teams.

Watford City’s varsity volleyball team got off to a good start in the District 15 Volleyball Tournament sweeping Trinity Christian on Tuesday evening as the Wolves defeated the Crusaders 25-22, 25-10 and 25-23 to advance to the title game against Stanley.
