Jack Zingleman

Jack Zingleman, 90, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on March 26, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family in his home in Bothell, Wash. He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Born on Jan. 14, 1936, in Watford City, N.D., to Ernest and Mabel (Ney) Zingleman, Jack was the youngest of twelve children. Raised in a large, hardworking family, he carried with him the deeply rooted values of humility, integrity, and perseverance. In recent years, he often referred to himself as “the sole survivor,” the last remaining sibling.
In 1957 Jack married his everlasting love, Delores Hartel. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two children, Tami and Craig. The family moved to Seattle in 1961, where Jack began a long and dedicated career with The Boeing Company, retiring in 1991 after more than 30 years of service.
In retirement, Jack and Delores enjoyed traveling in their RV, especially to Arizona, visiting family, friends and creating cherished memories. Jack delighted in his growing family, welcoming five grandchildren and later three great grandchildren. Known affectionately as a “baby whisperer,” he had a remarkable gift for calming even the fussiest little ones.
Jack found joy in the outdoors - camping, fishing from his custom built boat, and spending time in nature. He loved working puzzles with his grandchildren and was an avid reader, especially of Westerns and history.
A man of quiet strength and few words, Jack’s presence carried wisdom, steadiness, and compassion. Many remember him as a gentle soul who was always ready to lend a hand. His faith in God was with him his entire life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Jack will be remembered for his boundless generosity, unique sense of humor, patience, compassion, and his laughter. His legacy of faith, love and family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Delores Zingleman; their two children, Tami Alley and husband Brian, Craig Zingleman and wife Datha; four cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Travis, Rachel and Tanner; and three great-granddaughters, Taylor, Shealyn and Mabel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Trent Zingleman.
At Jack’s request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jack’s honor to your charity of choice.
