Colter Brown
Colter Brown, 25, of Keene, N.D., passed away on Sunday morning, April 19, 2020, at his home in Keene.
Colter James Brown was born Oct. 2, 1994, to James Brown and Anna Soles Brown. Colter attended Watford City High School in Watford City, N.D. He worked as a certified welder at Dale Schantzen’s shop and also worked in the oilfield at N-Gel.
Colter was very family oriented and very outgoing. He never had a bad word to say about anyone, and was always respectful to everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses and bad hats. Colter was also an off-the-grid type of person.
Colter is survived by his father, Jim (Tawna Boyko) Brown; mother and step-father, Anna (Johnny) Coyle; grandparents, Marlin (Patsy) Brown and Sandy Soles; brothers, Cody and Wacey (Julia); sister, Randee Brown (Jeff Ham); step-sisters, Sarah (Damon) Coyle and Samantha (Steven) Bailey; cousins, Kennidy and Cassidy (Roger) Rink; aunt, Dixie (Corey) Brown; six uncles and four aunts on his mother’s side; and numerous cousins.
