Allen Garmann
Allen M. Garmann passed away peacefully at Roundup Memorial Healthcare in Roundup, Mont., on April 26, 2016.
Allen was born April 17, 1944, in Williston, N.D., to parents Dorothy (Knight) and Henry Garmann.
Being born with spinal bifida did not keep Allen from completing eighth grade in Jamestown, N.D., and then later in life attaining his GED, as he felt education as very important.
Allen worked at a book-binding firm, and as a cashier at the Courage Center in Minneapolis, Minn. for many years. He was honored for 20 years of service working with people with disabilities in Minneapolis.
In 2007, he moved to Roundup to be closer to family and was proud to consider Roundup Memorial Healthcare his home, where he was known for his positive attitude and the ever present smile on his face.
He loved a great game of Scrabble or BINGO, word search puzzles, reading, crafts, and coloring.
His is survived by siblings, Dale (Joanne) and Jerry Garmann of Watford City, N.D., Dennis Garmann of Junction City, Utah, and Lois Adolph Sealey of Roundup, Mont.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, LaVern, Darrell, and Myrna.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Roundup Cemetery, with Pastor Dave Bergeson presiding.
