Williston man dies in single motorcycle rollover

At approximately 7:38 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Highway 2, near mile marker 58, approximately 6 miles west of Tioga. The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that the 65 year-old male driver from Williston, was wearing his helmet while driving at a high rate of speed. He lost control and entered the median, rolling the motorcycle.
The man was transported by ambulance to Tioga Medical Center where he succumed to his injuries.
Agencies assisting with the scene were the North Dakota Highway Patrol; the Williams County Sheriff's Office; and the Ray Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
