U.S. 85 Collision Claims One Life, Sends Two to Hospital

A crash on the morning of Thursday, Feb. 19, north of Alexander left three people injured.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at about 10:55 a.m. a Chevrolet Silverado pulling a flatbed trailer was travelling north on Highway 85 near mile marker 176.5, near the state weigh station south of Indian Hill.
The Chevrolet, operated by 33 year-old Jose Cuellar of Williston, lost control on icy roads and crossed over into the southbound lane of travel in front of a 2007 Ford F-150. 26 year-old Dennis Zamora of Austin, Texas, was also in the vehicle.
