Trail of Treats coming Oct. 31

Watford City’s Main Street will be a spook-tacular Halloween hot spot for families on Monday, Oct. 31, as the annual Chamber of Commerce Trail of Treats event is scheduled to take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Area youngsters are sure to enjoy trick-or-treating up and down Main Street. The festivities don’t end at the sidewalk. This year businesses that are not located directly on Main Street will be setting up stations within the median for the ‘Off the Beaten Path’ portion of the event.
“The event has really grown. The Chamber of Commerce is expecting upwards of 50 businesses to participate this year,” says Mary Gumke, Watford City Chamber of Commerce executive director.
