State sees homicides increase

North Dakota saw its number of homicides in 2020 climb to the highest number since 1978, according to the state’s annual Crime Report, which was released last week by North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.
According to Stenehjem, North Dakota experienced 32 homicides, including four minors, in 2020. Firearms were involved in the deaths of 15 of the homicide victims.
