Oilman Harold Hamm visits Watford City for book signing

During Ribfest 2023, Harold Hamm, known for founding Continental Oil, came to personally sign copies of his new book for members of the community.
His career has directly impacted the way North Dakota, especially the western side of the state, has developed. He pioneered fracking as not only a viable oil extraction technique but an extremely effective and profitable method of utilizing the oil locked in shale.
During his brief time in Watford City, Hamm made time to talk to The Farmer about not only his book, but the massive impact he has had on the oil industry, and by extension the whole area.
Hamm reminisced about the first time he came to Watford City, and expressed his amazement at the changes that have taken place.
