A new solution for local food security has arrived on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara (MHA) Nation officially announced the opening of its retail store at the Native Green Grow (NG2) greenhouse facility, offering the community direct access to fresh, sustainably grown produce.

The facility is located just west of the Highway 37 and Highway 23 junction, and NG2 represents a ground-breaking step for the Three Affiliated Tribes. The facility aims to provide high-quality, affordable nutrition to a region where fresh produce can often be a long drive away. The newly opened retail store currently stocks a variety of staples, with more on the way.
