McKenzie County Shakespeare Festival Coming Soon

The McKenzie County Shakespeare Festival is set to bring an exciting celebration of Shakespearean theater to the community this April, featuring performances by local high school students and community actors.
The festival will take place at the high school auditorium on the following dates:


● April 9 at 6:00 p.m.
● April 10 at 6:00 p.m.
● April 11 at 1:00 p.m.


Audiences will experience two distinct productions showcasing the power of William Shakespeare’s work. The evening begins with a comedic 30-minute adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew, performed by the Watford City High School Theater program. Following this, the McKenzie County Community Theater will present a full 1.5-hour production of Macbeth, bringing one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies to life.
Ticket prices are designed to make the festival accessible to all:


● $15 for general admission
● $10 for students
● $20 for a VIP ticket to see all three performances
