McKenzie County Athletic Park now open for residents to enjoy

A new park has a way of enhancing a community and luckily for Watford City, it has plenty of them. While it’s always been a highlight for those visiting or living in the area, there’s a lot of work that goes into the formation of a park.
The last bits and pieces are still underway for the creation of the community’s latest addition, the McKenzie County Athletic Park, but it is getting pretty close to being done and that’s something that is exciting for those with youngsters who play sports. Or, anyone who can appreciate a nice park for recreational activities, really.
“This enables us to hold some tournaments now. It will be the location for all of our sports programs for the youth,” says Robin Arndt, Watford City Parks and Recreation supervisor.
