Dakota West Credit Union has announced the appointment of long-time local banking professional, Jeff Reiter, as its new Chief Executive Officer. Reiter, who has been a significant figure in the Watford City financial landscape since 2011, steps into the top leadership role after serving as the credit union’s Chief Credit Officer.
Reiter brings a wealth of experience to his new position, with a career in banking that began as a bank examiner with the FDIC. His journey in the financial sector has taken him through various private banking roles across Montana and Wyoming before he made Watford City his home. While he took a five-year detour as a realtor in the area, his passion for banking ultimately led him back to Dakota West Credit Union.
“We are thrilled to promote Jeff Reiter to the role of CEO,” stated Samantha Yost, HR Manager at Dakota West Credit Union. “Jeff’s extensive background in banking, leadership experience, and dedication to our members make him the perfect fit to guide Dakota West Credit Union into the future.”
