Johnson served his country flying classified missions over Vietnam

When McKenzie County veteran Dennis Johnson joined the U.S. Army in 1967, those days were much different. It was a time when men felt an obligation to fight for their country.
“This is an old airplane, but it sure served us well,” said Johnson, as he held up a miniature model Beachcraft airplane. “We very seldom had a hiccup with that plane. We had confidence in them.”
