Downtown Association helps make Main Street beautiful

If you happen to notice some slight bright enhancements to Watford City’s Main Street, you can thank the Watford City Downtown Association, which recently added some sidewalk benches and planters for all to enjoy.
“We did this because this is one of the Downtown Association’s missions, to beautify Main Street and eventually create spaces for those in the community to enjoy,” says Cerena McNeely, Watford City Downtown Association vice president.
According to McNeely, the organization began placing park benches on the city’s sidewalks earlier last month.
“The idea came from our group brainstorming ways to improve Main Street and start beautifying our street,” she says.
